PDA Camera

If you've ever been somewhere and wanted to take a quick photo of something, a PDA camera may be just right for you. There are many things to consider in looking for a PDA camera. Do you want to record video? What can of light will you be taking pictures in? What kind of memory does the PDA have for storing pictures? Does the camera lens zoom? Does the PDA camera take only digitals photos or does it take photos in pixel, JPEG, BMP, and GIF formats? A basic point and click PDA camera such as a Palm Zhire 71 isn't too expensive around $200, yet takes decent casual photos. A higher end PDA camera may be able to shoot 30 second video and can cost around $600.

Another suggestion would be to purchase your PDA and buy an external camera separately, which can be plugged in your PDA's SD or CF slots. External cameras range in price from $100-$400, this may be a slightly cheaper option, depending on the PDA you are planning to buy. When buying a camera for your PDA, you must consider all the same factors as buying a PDA with an internal camera. Of course, the most important consideration would be making sure your PDA is compatible with whatever camera you chose.

PDA Software

PDA software can enormously increase your PDA's functions capacity and skill set. Every PDA comes with basic programs to help you keep track of contacts and organize your schedule. However, there's a wide range of additional programs available for use including PDA Productivity Software, graphics software, map software and PDA Games software.
